Indian Hills Golf Club
Indian Hills Golf Club has a rich and colorful history. The golf course was designed by local Twin Cities architect Don Herfort on gently rolling farmland featuring woodlands and small ponds. The club opened 12 holes in 1970. Prospective members were offered a deal ... bring back loose rocks (in a bag they were provided) and play for FREE. The full 18 holes were ready for play in spring of 1971.
The club has hosted a United States Amateur Championship sectional qualifier, Minnesota State Open, Tapemark Charity Pro-Am, as well as many Minnesota Golf Association events. IHGC is owned and managed by Mike Regan, a son of one of the original 13 owners. Mike and Indian Hills will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2021 with the debut of three new golf holes.
