| Project Description: Willinger's Golf Club is a 6,775 yard 18 hole golf course and practice range. The facility was planned to attract the corporate golf market from the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro market area. The beautiful natural setting and the dramatic architectural features of the golf course make Willinger's a challenging and unique golfing experience. Golf holes were routed through and around numerous wetlands and upland woods. Golf Digest Places to Play comments include "Best new course in years, Superior layout, A class act." . |

 Gill Design, Inc. InvolvementGill Design, Inc. initially developed alternative golf course routings and future residential lot configurations. Final design services included: securing the Corps of Engineers 404 permit for wetlands development, preparing construction documents that mitigated wetlands impact and providing construction management services through the completion of the project. The course opened in 1992. Gill Design Inc. continues to provide consultation. Willinger's was a qualifying site for the 1994 U.S. Open. |
