Gill Design, Inc. is a traditional style golf course design firm. Our primary
focus is the public golf course sector. We believe golf courses should be
aesthetically pleasing and fun for all players, yet challenging and demanding for those
who wish to test their skill level.
Expertise in conceptual design, cost estimating and budgeting, specifying and
bidding, construction scheduling and contractor selection are all integral parts of golf
course design, and clients respect our proven ability to be creative, thorough, and
decisive as well as deliver the completed project within the original budget.

Garrett
Gill, Principal, grew up following in the business established by his late father, David Gill of St. Charles, Illinois. Garrett and David worked together for many years completing numerous golf facilities, among them Meadowbrook Links in Rapid City, South Dakota, and the Hulman Links in Terre Haute, Indiana, both of which have been ranked in the Top 50 Public Golf Courses by Golf Digest Magazine. More recently Golf Digest has ranked The Legends Club in Prior Lake, MN and the Meadows at Mystic Lake Golf Course in Shakopee, MN in their list of top 10 new golf courses for the years 2002 and 2007 respectively.
Dr. Rita M. Kozak, Environmental Consultant,
is responsible for land use planning and environmental management operations, inclusive of
design, zoning process and applications, DNR and US Corp of Engineers permit process and
applications and all related work.

Schmenk, Senior Design Associate, is involved in all aspects of golf course design, construction management and site observation.
